Thomas Sumter Academy is a COGNIA accredited, independent college preparatory school focusing on the education of the whole child through the emphasis on academics, athletics, arts, and the development of moral character. To foster development, TSA provides small classroom settings, student activities, athletics opportunities, dance, and fine arts.
Located near the middle of the state, TSA serves the cities of Sumter, Camden, and Columbia, as well as Shaw AFB and other surrounding areas. Our 15-acre facility is centered around our historical main building. Our students in grades PK3 through 12 come from a wide range of ethnic and economic backgrounds.
Financial aid is available to families during the application process. TSA also accepts students that have been approved for the Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESFT) through the South Carolina Department of Education.
